• Location:
  Briefing and gear fitting take place at our dive center in Protaras. If conditions allow, the dive is done at Green Bay, which is just around the corner.

  If you need pick‑up in the areas of Protaras, Pernera or Ayia Napa, let us know — we offer a pick‑up service as well.

• Age:
  Minimum age: 10 years
  For children aged 8–10, we offer a slightly different program called PADI Bubblemaker. Get in touch with us for details.

• Swimming Skills:
  You should be comfortable in the water and able to swim basic strokes. There is no swimming test required.

• Medical:
  Before diving, you’ll complete a short medical questionnaire in your PADI account to confirm you’re fit to dive. If everything looks good, you’re ready to go. If any answers require a doctor’s approval, no worries — simply take the form to your doctor. Once signed, you’re cleared to dive.

• General fit to dive:
  Diving is relaxed and enjoyable, but it still requires a basic level of physical fitness. If you’re unsure, feel free to contact us so we can help you choose the best option.

After booking, you’ll receive a link to register with PADI. Please fill in the required forms and complete the short e‑learning module. It only takes about 15 - 20 minutes and helps you feel prepared for your experience. And don’t worry — we’ll go through everything again during the briefing.

You’ll meet your instructor at our dive center in Protaras. We’ll give you an introduction, explain what to expect, review the e‑learning theory, and answer all your questions.

After that, we’ll show you the equipment you’ll be using and size your gear. This is also when we demonstrate the simple skills you’ll practice underwater.

All set and ready to dive? Let’s go.

If conditions allow, we conduct our introductory dives at Green Bay, a shallow, sheltered site close to the dive center. We’ll help you into your gear and enter the water from the beach.

Before descending, we’ll make sure you’re comfortable in the water and familiar with the equipment. Once you’re ready, we begin the dive.

In the shallow area, we’ll practice three easy skills. After that, we’ll descend a little deeper — only as far as you feel comfortable. The maximum depth at Green Bay is around 10 meters.

We’ll explore the bay, look for marine life, take photos and videos and enjoy the underwater scenery before slowly returning to the exit point.

Once you’re back on the surface, we can log your dive in your PADI app so you can keep track of your experiences as you (hopefully) continue your diving journey. We can do this either at Green Bay — there’s a small coffee shop — or back at the dive center.

We’ll also process your PADI Discover Scuba Diving recognition card and share your photos and videos so you can take home some memories.
