What to expect on your snorkeling tour
Every tour begins with a short introduction, where we explain how snorkeling works and how to use the equipment – making it ideal for beginners with no prior experience. Our guides are always there to support you, so you can feel comfortable and safe in the water from the very start. The in-water time is approximately one hour, and we enter the water from shore. We bring an action camera along to take photos and videos of your trip, so you’ll have your memories captured.
Choose Your Snorkeling Experience
The snorkeling sites are in the Protaras area and are chosen based on weather conditions as well as your personal interests.
This trip mainly focuses on finding sea turtles in the area and includes a briefing about the sea turtles around Cyprus.
On this trip, you will visit the famous Museum of Underwater Sculptures in Ayia Napa, learn about the main idea of the project and explore more than 90 statues.
FAQs
-
The minimum age requirement for our snorkeling tours is 8 years old. You should feel comfortable in the water and be able to swim, but you don’t need to be an expert. We stay close throughout the tour, keep the pace relaxed, and can provide buoyancy aids if you’d like some extra support. We also bring a surface buoy for added safety and visibility in the water.
-
Children can join our snorkeling trips from the age of 8. We always adapt the site and the pace of the tour to the group, ensuring that younger guests feel comfortable and safe in the water.
-
If you already have your own mask or snorkel, feel free to bring it along. Otherwise, you only need to bring your swimsuit, a towel and some water— we take care of everything else. All snorkeling equipment is included in the price, so you don’t need to worry about gear.
-
We always monitor the wind and weather conditions closely. If the conditions are not suitable for snorkeling, we will reschedule the tour together with you or choose an alternative location where the sea is calmer and safe.

Between the impressive rock formations, you can find a variety of marine life, although Cyprus is not known for big fish or large schools. We often see lionfish, sea bream, cornetfish, damselfish and sea urchins. With a bit of luck, you may also spot more hidden species such as sea stars, seahorses, fireworms or even rays from time to time. Check out this page to see more about the marine life in Cyprus.

Sea turtles are wild animals, so we cannot guarantee an encounter. On our turtle‑friendly snorkeling tour, we choose locations where turtles are often seen and do our best to find them, but sightings can never be promised.
