Wreck Dives
Besides our shore dive options, we also have several diveable wrecks here in Cyprus. All of our wreck dives are easily accessible by boat and just a short ride from the marina. The wreck of the M/S Zenobia — a true bucket‑list dive — lies off the coast of Larnaca. Two smaller wrecks, intentionally sunk to create artificial reefs, are located right off the coast of Protaras.
Explore the wrecks below and get a feel for these sites through the images captured by Andrei during his dives.

M/S Zenobia
One of the world’s top ten diveable wrecks lies right off our island: the M/S Zenobia, a massive ro‑ro ferry that sank on its maiden voyage in 1980 near Larnaca. All crew survived, but the ship’s full cargo still remains scattered in and around the wreck. Zenobia rests on her port side, starting at around 18 meters and descending to 42 meters. At 172 meters long and 28 meters wide, she is one of the largest wrecks accessible to recreational divers and freedivers. Alongside the impressive structure, divers often encounter groupers, barracuda, tuna and sometimes even a turtle.

M/V Liberty
The M/V Liberty was originally built in Greece in 1965 as the cargo vessel Skopelitis, transporting frozen goods before later serving under the Russian flag. In 2009, the Paralimni municipality acquired and sank the ship to create an artificial reef and support local dive tourism. Today, divers enjoy wide, open swim‑throughs, plenty of marine life and occasionally some nudibranchs around the wreck. The Liberty sits only a short boat ride from Paralimni Marina, resting at a maximum depth of 27 meters. It measures about 37 meters in length and 10 meters in width.

Nemesis III
Built in France in 1956, the former fishing vessel Nemesis III was intentionally sunk in 2013 within the Protaras Marine Protected Area, joining the Liberty as part of the region’s artificial reef project. The wreck lies completely intact and upright on the seabed, reaching a maximum depth of 24 meters. Divers can explore several safe swim‑throughs, including cut‑out openings in the bow and the bridge area, with plenty of marine life gathering around the wreck. Located just a few minutes by boat from Paralimni Marina, the Nemesis III is approximately 35 meters long and 6 meters wide.
